It’s summer, y’all — and we couldn’t be happier about it.
Every season has perks that make it special, but there is something about summer that puts it in a league all its own. Yes, we’re saying summer is better than winter, and we’ve got the points to prove it.
No other season brings people together the way summer does, and that’s reason alone for putting it at the top of the list. Summer also gets people outside, and with the amount of time we spend at our desks or on our couch, that’s something we all could use more of in our lives. Maybe we can credit the weather, but I think it’s so much more than that. There’s a sort of magic associated with summer that you simply cannot deny.
Whether you like going to the beach or having a cookout in the backyard with friends, there is always something to do during these amazing months. Plus, you’re more active during summer, which is always good for your health. In reality though, it’s the good vibes that are the healthiest part of it all.

Vitamin D
A majority of us are deficient in vitamin D, an important vitamin that supports everything from your body's ability to absorb calcium, to muscle movement, to your immune system. While you can get vitamin D from food or supplements, the sun is a main source.
The more sun you're exposed to, the more vitamin D you get, and the same goes for the strength of sun. Therefore, summer is a key time to get all your vitamin D — the natural way. While we always recommend protecting against harmful UV rays, sunshine on your skin does it good in moderation.
